The equity lens project looks at how organizations can foster a culture of authentic inclusivity through the development of individual competencies (e.g. an equity lens).
The Equity Lens Project synthesizes the most up-to-date research from across disciplines to offer clear, actionable solutions and best practices for organizations looking to realize the benefits of inclusive culture, optimize collaboration and efficiency, enhance their organization’s capacity to engage in DEIJB initiatives, and develop a sustainable multi-year professional development program.
The Equity Lens Project is nested dual framework for professional development that works at three levels to support the development of inclusive culture. At the individual level, it is a set of skills/ capacities that develop individuals’ equity lens, thereby leveling up the community’s capacity to engage in DEIJB work. At the organizational level, the Equity Lens Project’s sustainable, iterative delivery framework that ensures relevancy, gets people into their growth zone, fosters authentic relationships and an ongoing community dialogue, and continually develops organizational capacity over time. It is designed so that organizations can use the both the skill and delivery framework year-over-year to continue to build individual and organizational capacity to engage in DEIJB work, develop inclusive culture, and foster belonging while support other organizational DEIJB initiatives.
