B.E. Thriving’s mission is to empower others to thrive and solve problems in a way that drives connection and creates more space for authentic expressions of individual uniqueness. It is founded on the values of curiosity, creativity, authenticity, sustainability, humility, and grace. We use a multi-disciplinary lens to develop elegant, sustainable solutions synthesizing the latest research and best practices from each field.
Ashley Coleman-Fitch founded B. E. Thriving to make her research more accessible and engage with the larger community in a more robust way. Ashley is an educator, coach, consultant, and avid researcher-practitioner who loves to solve a good problem. With nearly twenty years of teaching experience, Ashley has worked with a wide range of age groups and populations in a range of settings from traditional classrooms to the outdoors. She began her career working with at-risk youth, focusing on risk management and empowerment, which have become central tenants to her philosophy and approach. Ashley holds a B.A. in psychology focusing on human development, risk management, and behavior change. She is currently finishing her masters degree in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) Leadership at Tufts University.
Ashley is also a mom to her wonderful daughter, Charlotte and her amazing partner, Alex. Ashley loves animals, especially cats, and works to spend at least some time outside every day. She enjoys getting dirty in her garden, practicing her own brand of yoga/ meditation under the canopy of the giant maple in her yard, and can never resist a good (kitchen) dance party .
